National center of meteorology in the UAE
The United Arab Emirates is one of the first countries in the Persian Gulf region to use cloud seeding technology. The cloud-seeding program in the UAE was initiated in the late 1990s, as one of the first Middle Eastern countries to utilize cloud seeding. In 2005, the UAE launched the UAE Prize for Excellence in Advancing the Science and Practice of Weather Modification in collaboration with the World Meteorological Organization.
Until 2019 Stroyproject supplied NCM with hugroscopic flares “Loza-1000” for the Rain enhancement project in the UAE.
In 2019 with the collaboration and support of Stroyproject Ltd, NCM established it’s Weather enhancement technology factory and commenced the production of hygroscopic flares for cloud seeding. With the advanced technology, expertise and skilled professionals of Stroyproject, NCM was able to design and manufacture hygroscopic flares with utmost precision in the UAE.
In 2022 Strroyproject designed and delivered cloud chambers for agent testing to the UAE. Stroyproject staff consulted and trained personnel in the UAE how to utilize the chambers to maintain the high quality of the hygroscopic agent.
